Skyride is a Ropeway built by French manufacturer POMA currently located at Alton Towers in Alton, Staffordshire, England, UK. It was new to the park in 1987.[1]

Temporary closure

The Skyride was closed for the whole 2023 season. In March 2024, Alton Towers announced it would also not return any time in 2024. The Alton Towers support page was updated with information stating it was still being refurbished "to ensure its longevity in the park".[2] Divisional Director Bianca Sammut also mentioned it in her first 2024 park update.[3]

Reopening

The Skyride was originally planned to reopen on 30 April 2025, however was delayed until the beginning of May.[4] The Skyride reopened to the public on 3 May 2025.[5]
