Tornado is a Frisbee built by Dutch manufacturer KMG currently owned by UK showman Perrin Stevens, and currently on loan to Clarence Pier in Southsea, Portsmouth.

History

At Funland Hayling Island in 2005

The ride debuted at Funland Hayling Island in 2003.[1] The ride remained at the park until the end of the 2006 season, when they sold the ride to Norwegian travelling fairground business Hugos Tivoli, while gaining an upgraded model named Tornado 2 in the process.

After fifteen years with Hugos Tivoli, the ride was exported back to the United Kingdom in 2022 under the ownership of Perrin Stevens, who situated the ride at Barry Island Pleasure Park for 2022. The ride was situated at Clarence Pier for the 2023 season.[2][3]

The ride returned to Clarence Pier for the 2024 season, with the ride gaining brand-new lights and a new color scheme.
