Travelling roller coaster

Olympia Looping, the world's largest travelling roller coaster, operating at night

A travelling roller coaster is a portable roller coaster which does not have a fixed place of operation, rather it is transported regularly and operates at different amusement parks and fairs. A roller coaster made specifically to travel is designed to be quick to assemble and pack away.

The smallest travelling roller coasters can be assembled in a couple of hours. The largest travelling roller coaster, Olympia Looping, takes a week to assemble.
