Play DXB Dubai Mall (formerly VR Park Dubai and Sega Republic) is an indoor virtual reality theme park located on the third and fourth floors of the Dubai Mall in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
History
Sega Republic opened on 21 August 2009.[1][2]
In June 2017, the park's website was updated to take note that the park had officially shut down; certifying that a "new experience" would be coming soon.[3] All of the park's arcade games, in addition to some of the larger games (Let's Go Jungle! Special, The House of the Dead 4 Special and Storm-G) were relocated to Dezerland Park Orlando in Florida.[4]
In 2018, the park reopened under a new name and theme, called VR Park Dubai.[5]
