Blue Flyer is a wooden kiddie roller coaster built by the Dayton Fun House and Riding Device and Manufacturing Company located at Pleasure Beach Resort in Blackpool, England, UK. The attraction opened in 1934 and is believed to have been built by Charlie Paige. It is located in the "Nickelodeon Land" section of the park. Blue Flyer is loosely based on Blue's Clues, a 1996 children's show. The ride also has a tunnel.
The ride was Grade II-listed in April 2017.[1]
History
The ride was formerly called Zipper Dipper from 1934 until the opening of Nickelodeon Land in 2011.
