Wallace & Gromit's Thrill-O-Matic is a Tracked Dark Ride built by US manufacturer Arrow Dynamics currently located at Pleasure Beach Resort in Blackpool, Lancashire, England, UK.
History
The ride system originally opened in 1971 as Gold Mine. This incarnation of the ride closed in 2011.
After an extensive rebuild and retheme the ride reopened as Wallace & Gromit's Thrill-O-Matic on 29 April 2013. The ride system was extensively overhauled by UK manufacturer W.G.H. Transportation Engineering, who manufactured new cars. The rebuild cost £5.25 million.[1]
