Clown Coaster is a kiddie roller coaster located at Wicksteed Park in Kettering, Northamptonshire, England, UK.
History
The ride first operated at Harbour Park for at least one season as the Circus Clown. The year isn't known, however it was a few years prior to the Zyklon. It then opened at Pleasureland Southport during the 1980s. From here it moved to sister park Blackpool Pleasure Beach either before or for 1989. It returned to Southport Pleasureland for a couple of seasons following its closure at Blackpool Pleasure Beach.
Wicksteed Park purchased the coaster for £20,000 and reportedly spent £130,000 on refurbishing it.[1] It reopened at Wicksteed Park in October 2011.
