Blue Streak is a wooden out and back roller coaster located at Cedar Point in Sandusky, Ohio, USA. Opened in 1964, it is the oldest operating roller coaster at the park.
History
Blue Streak opened on May 23, 1964. At first, it was unpainted. By 1967, it had received its current blue paint.[1]
On April 26, 2013, Blue Streak was damaged when a construction vehicle backed into its turnaround. No major damage occurred and repairs were carried out quickly.
During the 2018 Halloweekend's event, Blue Streak was named "Boo Streak". The ride's signage and station music was changed to reflect this.[1]
