Skyhawk is a Screamin' Swing built by US manufacturer S&S Worldwide currently located at Cedar Point in Sandusky, Ohio, USA. The attraction was installed by Ride Entertainment and opened in 2006.
History
Skyhawk opened on May 6, 2006.[1]
Design
The attraction is a Screamin' Swing installation from S&S Worldwide. It consists of two gondolas which swing in a 230 degree arc.
Incident
On July 26, 2014, one of the cables on the pendulum arms snapped, injuring two riders. One was treated at the scene while the other was taken to a local hospital and later released.[2]
