History[edit | edit source]
The roller coaster is first known to have operated at Drayton Manor. It opened in 1985 or 85 as the "Python". Although it is not confirmed, it is likely that the Python was transformed into the Klondike Gold Mine for the 1995 season. Klondike Gold Mine operated until 2004.
The ride was moved, with its scenery intact, to Funland Amusement Park where it operated from 2005 to 2015. It was then bought by travelling rides operator Euroshow who debuted the ride in October. The ride no longer operates with scenery.
Design[edit | edit source]
The ride is a Zyklon ZL42 with mine-cart style trains.
