Antique Cars, originally known as Les Taxis, was a Track Ride built by US manufacturer Arrow Development that was previously located at Kings Island in Mason, Ohio, USA. The ride originally featured the company's French Taxi vehicles and later the Cadillac ones.[1]
History
Les Taxis opened with the park in 1972. It was intertwined with Ohio Overland Auto Livery, another Track Ride from Arrow Development.
Ohio Overland Auto Livery closed in the late 1990s and its Cadillac cars were moved to the Les Taxis track. The French Taxi vehicles were relocated to Magic Springs in in Hot Springs, Arkansas, USA and used on Ozark Mountain Taxi Company.
The ride was renamed Antique Cars in the early 2000s.
In 2004, Antique Cars and Flying Eagles were removed to make room for The Italian Job: Stunt Track. The cars remained in storage for several years before later being relocated to Worlds of Fun in Kansas City, Missouri, USA.[2]
