Wagon Wheel was a Trabant built by US manufacturer Chance Rides that was previously located at Six Flags AstroWorld in Houston, Texas, USA.

History:

The ride originally opened at Six Flags AstroWorld when the park opened in 1968. It was located in the Western Junction section. In 1999, the ride was temporary removed from the park due to structural problems. The following year in 2000, it was re-installed after being fixed.[1]

Six Flags AstroWorld closed on October 30, 2005.[2] Six Flags would relocate many of the park's rides to other Six Flags properties, while others were put up for auction or demolished for scrap. Wagon Wheel was sent to Six Flags Elitch Gardens to be rebuilt for the 2006 season to replace Chaos, which had been removed the previous year in 2005. The ride however was damaged when it was being transported to the park and arrived in poor condition. Plans to install it at the park were cancelled and the ride was eventually put into storage before being scrapped.[3][4] PARC Management LLC acquired the park in 2007 from Six Flags and reopened Chaos until it was removed in 2010.
