History
The ride debuted as Warp 10 at Six Flags AstroWorld in the International Plaza area in 1981.[1] It operated until it was removed after 1985 and was replaced by Looping Starship. In 1987, the ride was relaunched as Warp 2000 in the Plaza de Fiesta area.[2][3] It would operate until Six Flags AstroWorld permanently closed on October 30, 2005.[4]
Six Flags would relocate many rides to other parks. Warp 2000 reopened as Crazy Legs at Six Flags Over Texas on April 29, 2006, along with former rides Runaway Rickshaws and Looping Starship. Some parts from La Ronde's former Diablo are also have said to be used in its rebuild.[5][6]
