Foghorn Leghorn's Stagecoach Express is a Junior Railway built by Italian manufacturer Zamperla currently located at Six Flags Great Adventure in Jackson, New Jersey, USA.
History
The ride originally opened at Six Flags AstroWorld as Tasmanian Express in 1990. It was located in the Enchanted Kingdom children's area adjacant to European Village.[1]
By 1995, the Enchanted Kingdom area was renamed to Bugs Bunny World and Tasmanian Express was renamed to The Chariot Chase.[2] In 1996, Bugs Bunny World was renamed to Looney Tunes Town and the ride was renamed to Tweety's Voluntary Fire Dept..[3][4] It would continue to operate until Six Flags AstroWorld closed on October 30, 2005.[5]
Six Flags would relocate many of the park's rides to other properties, including the children rides in Looney Tunes Town. Tweety's Voluntary Fire Dept. was relocated to Six Flags Great Adventure in 2006. It was installed in the Bugs Bunny National Park children area and was renamed to Foghorn Leghorn's Stagecoach Express. A new track layout was constructed during the relocation and reopening.
