History

On ride view at the New York World's Fair

The ride opened at Freedom Land U.S.A in Bronx, New York, USA in 1960.

After the park closed in 1964, the ride's towers were sold and relocated to Great Adventure in Jackson, New Jersey, USA where they opened with the park in 1974. The relocated ride used cars and mechanical equipment from the Skyway at the 1964 New York World's Fair in Flushing, New York, USA.[1]

The ride closed in 2023 and did not operate in 2024. In November 2024, the park announced the ride's removal.[2] Demolition of the ride began in early 2025.[3]
