Joker is a steel 4th Dimension roller coaster from S&S Worldwide located at Six Flags Great Adventure in Jackson, New Jersey, USA.
History
The ride was originally announced on September 3, 2015 as Total Mayhem. It was to have one red rail and one yellow rail.[1] On January 27, 2016, the park suddenly revealed that it would instead be called The Joker, suggesting that the villain had "seized" Total Mayhem to name it as his own.[2] In March 2016, construction of the coaster was completed.[3] The Joker opened on May 28, 2016 following two season pass holder preview days.[4]
The queue line was themed to a circus freak show, containing many Batman villains appearing on posters, such as Two-Face (who had his own ride over at Six Flags America until 2007) and Mr. Freeze, who was labeled as "The World's Coldest Man." There were even Batman villains who hadn't gotten a ride at a Six Flags park, such as Man-Bat (Kirk Langstrom).
Design
The layout of Joker is identical to that of Batman: The Ride at Six Flags Fiesta Texas, with the only difference being the purple and green color scheme. The layout has subsequently been used by further 4D Free Spin installations.
Trains
5 cars. Riders are arranged 4 across in 2 rows, for a total of 8 riders per car.
