Musik Express was a Superbob/Musik Express built by German manufacturer Mack Rides previously located at Six Flags Great Adventure in Jackson, New Jersey, USA.
History
Musik Express was one of three new attractions added in 1976, the other two were Alpen Blitz and Super Sidewinder.[1]
In the late 1980s, new safety features were added such as mesh netting and the removal of the ride's back wall, which obscured the back portion of the ride's track.
The ride was completed refurbished during the 2006/2007 offseason, with a new canvas roof and mechanical fixes to the ride.
The ride last operated during the 2007 season, as the park's Old Country area was closed off due to Six Flags experiencing financial difficulties at the time which made it necessary to cut costs. The ride was left standing but not operating starting in 2008.
The ride's cars were later sent to Six Flags Magic Mountain for use on The Flash: Speed Force. The ride was eventually completely removed in 2014.[2]
