Razzmatazz was a Polyp built by US manufacturer Eyerly Aircraft Company previously located at Six Flags AstroWorld in Houston, Texas, USA.
History
The ride opened at AstroWorld in Houston, Texas, USA with the park on June 1, 1968. It was originally built in the Oriental Village area and was known as Black Dragon, painted entirely black.
In 1976, with the opening of the new Coney Island area and Texas Cyclone, Black Dragon was moved to this new area and was renamed to Razzmatazz.[1] It was repainted orange as part of this move. The ride closed after the 1977 season and was replaced with Whirling Dervish the following year.[2][3]
