It was the first of two log flumes to open at the park on June 25, 1963.[1] It closed in 2018 but was reopened in 2021 for the park's 60th anniversary. The park's second flume El Aserradero also still operates.

History

On August 30, 2023, Six Flags Over Texas announced plans to combine El Aserradero and the neighboring flume of the same name, becoming the world's longest flume ride.[2] The plans were later cancelled.
