El Diablo was a Super Loop ride formerly located at Six Flags Over Texas in Arlington, Texas, USA. It opened on May 28, 2019 and closed on November 3, 2024.[1] The ride is currently in storage at Clementon Park and Splash World in Clementon, New Jersey, USA.
History
On August 30, 2018, Six Flags Over Texas announced this ride which at the time was called Lone Star Revolution would be installed in the Tower area of the park.[2]
On January 22, 2019, the park suddenly revealed a "devillish" new plan, in which the attraction would instead be called El Diablo and operate in the Spain-themed area.[3]
In November 2024, Six Flags Over Texas announced that El Diablo and La Víbora had closed and would be removed.[4]
By the end of April 2025, El Diablo was completely dismantled and removed from the park, being sold to US operator IB Parks & Entertainment and relocated to Clementon Park and Splash World in Clementon, New Jersey, USA, where it was put into storage.[5][6]
