Batman The Ride is a steel inverted roller coaster located at Six Flags Over Texas in Arlington, Texas, USA. It was designed by Bolliger & Mabillard.
Opened in 1999, the ride is the ninth Batman installation and the sixth at a Six Flags park.
History
On November 4, 1998, Six Flags Over Texas announced that Batman The Ride would debut in 1999.[2] On May 26, 1999, the ride opened.[3] Unlike the other locations, this one features a different loading station themed to the Wayne Foundation Industrial Park instead of Gotham Public Works.
During the 2014 season, the ride operated backwards.[4]
Batman The Ride received a single rider line for the 2022 season.[5]
The attraction was repainted in 2023.[6]
