Superman: Tower of Power is a drop tower ride located at Six Flags Over Texas in Arlington, Texas, USA.

History

On November 12, 2002, Six Flags Over Texas announced that Superman: Tower of Power would be added to the park. The new ride would be the highest S&S Worldwide drop tower in the United States, taller than Power Tower at Cedar Point.^[1] The ride was built on the former site of Missile Chaser, which was sent to Six Flags Magic Mountain.^[2]

Superman: Tower of Power opened on March 29, 2003.^[3] At 325 feet tall, it was the tallest ride at the park until Texas SkyScreamer opened ten years later in 2013.^[4]
