1999 - Superman - Ride Of Steel, a Intamin hyper roller coaster, opens at Six Flags Darien Lake in Darien Center, New York, United States.
1999 - Tremors, a Custom Coasters International, Inc. wooden roller coaster, opens at Silverwood Theme Park in Athol, Idaho, United States.
1993 - Wild Mouse, a Vekoma wild mouse roller coaster, opens at Idlewild Park in Ligonier, Pennsylvania, USA. It used to be located at Wurstelprater and Alton Towers. It is the only Vekoma Wild Mouse ever produced.
