Riddler's Revenge is a steel stand-up roller coaster located at Six Flags Magic Mountain in Valencia, California, USA.[1] Opened in 1998, Riddler's Revenge set stand-up coaster records for height, drop, speed, length, and the most inversions on a stand-up coaster.[2] All five of these records surpassed those of Chang (now Green Lantern), which opened at Kentucky Kingdom the year before.
History
Riddler's Revenge is the second stand-up roller coaster to operate at Six Flags Magic Mountain. The first was Shockwave, which operated from 1986 to 1988.[3]
Construction of Riddler's Revenge began in 1997.[4] The ride officially opened to the public on April 4, 1998. The opening of the ride was part of a redevelopment of the Monterey Landing themed area into the 4.9-acre Movie Town themed area. As part of the expansion, the park added new restaurants, retail outlets, and rethemed some existing rides.[5]
In 2017, Riddler's Revenge was repainted to coincide with the opening of Justice League: Battle for Metropolis and the new Metropolis themed area. The track remained green, however, the supports were changed from black to yellow.[6]

Riddler's Revenge is well known for its interaction with the queue line, making it photogenic from numerous areas. It is currently the only stand-up coaster to have a lift hill that passes through a vertical loop. With six inversions, it holds the record for most on a stand-up coaster.
The music played in the loading station is "Ecuador (Bruce Wayne Mix)" by Sash. (Bruce Wayne is the name of the alter ego of Batman, who the Riddler is a rogue of.)
Trains
3 trains with 8 cars per train. In each car, riders are arranged 4 across in a single row, for a total of 32 riders per train.
