This article ranks the roller coasters with the fastest launch acceleration. Provided are the launch speed and the time taken to reach it. From this, the acceleration can be worked out in ms⁻² using the mathematical formula:

Acceleration = change in speed / time taken

The measurements have also been converted to g, which is essentially how many times the greater the force is than gravity.

Please note that the times listed here may not be completely accurate.

Notes

Launch accelerations used here are from the RCDB.

• Karacho reaches 62.1 mph in 1.6 s, however the starting speed is not known. From zero, this would be an acceleration of 18.5 ms⁻² (1.9 g).
• The same holds for Fluch von Novgorod which should not have the 2nd place on this list. I am not a regular editor of wikipages and I do not want to mess up the tabular, so if someone like a mod or admin sees this feel free to adjust it in the tabular. (btw I don't think any LSM will beat the likes of Stealth and KK for the coming decade or two).
• Stealth at Thorpe Park launch speed was increased from 2.5 seconds to 1.9 seconds to prevent rollbacks.
