Buccaneer Battle was a splash battle ride located at Six Flags Great America in Gurnee, Illinois, USA. It opened on May 12, 2009.^[1] The ride last operated in 2021 and remained standing but not operating during the 2022 and 2023 seasons.^[2] In 2023, construction fences were erected around the ride and all ride signs were removed as the ride was removed from the park's website.

Design

Guests stand on large boats which navigate an underwater track. Guests can use water cannons to shoot water at targets placed throughout the course or to shoot at other guests. Upon opening, this was the longest Mack Rides Splash Battle ride with a track length of around 450 feet.^[1]
