Wrath of Rakshasa is a steel floorless diving roller coaster currently under construction at Six Flags Great America in Gurnee, Illinois, USA. The ride was built by Swiss firm Bolliger & Mabillard.
History
The ride was announced in August 2024.[1]
In November, track for the coaster arrived on site and most of the work on footers had been completed.[2]
As of December 5, 2024, the turn into the lift hill is complete. In addition, the supports for the brake run and the track connecting the brake run to the station is finished.[3]
As of December 8, 2024, part of the track for the brake run and transfer track has been placed.[3]
On April 16, 2025, the ride had its first test with a train.[citation needed] It opened on May 31, 2025.[4]
Design

Riders board from one side of the station and disembark via the other. Storage bins are provided. During the ride, the bins move from one side of the station to the other allowing riders to store and retrieve their belongings without having to climb over the train.[5]
Trains
3 trains with 3 cars per train. In each car, riders are arranged 7 across in a single row, for a total of 21 riders per train.
