Sky Striker is an upcoming frisbee ride located at Six Flags Great America in Gurnee, Illinois, USA. It is expected to replace Dare Devil Dive.
Design
The ride is a modified Giant Discovery installation from Zamperla, is one of the tallest pendulum rides in the world, and the tallest pendulum ride in the Midwest. The pendulum reaches a maximum height of 172 feet above ground while swinging.
Trivia
- The park's previous pendulum ride, Revolution, was closed in 2023 since Sky Striker basically put it into obsolescence.[1]
