Joker is a steel 4th dimension roller coaster located at Six Flags Great America in Gurnee, Illinois, USA.
History
On September 1, 2016, it was announced that three Joker-themed roller coasters would be coming to Six Flags Over Texas, Six Flags Great America and Six Flags New England.[1]
The Joker opened on May 27, 2017.[2]
At No Coaster Con 2024, the park announced that the ride is scheduled to receive a "lift chain replacement and completion of control system/station update."[3]
Design
Joker is a 4D Free Spin built by S&S Worldwide. It is a clone of Batman The Ride at Six Flags Fiesta Texas and Joker at Six Flags Great Adventure. Two other clones were constructed in 2017 at Six Flags Over Texas and Six Flags New England.
Trains
Single cars. Riders are arranged 4 across in 2 rows, for a total of 8 riders per car.
